Restraint and Release – your Lion Bites word for today
Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way that leads to life, and there are few that find it”.
The Lord sees you moving towards the ‘Narrow Gate’ and He encourages you on your venture today. He says “although the way towards this gate is a way of restraint, tension and sometimes frustration, know that the way beyond the gate will be marked by great release and freedom that I have purposes your life to attain to.”
You may question why God has been asking you to lay down certain things you once carried; agendas, visions, roles, and responsibilities. But know that, in the laying down, there will be a release of life to you unlike anything you have known before.
Today, yield to God’s processes. Say yes to His preparation. For after this time of restraint will come a time of release, and new chapter of ‘Heaven on Earth’ will begin in your life.
