Speak to the storm

In the middle of your storm, in the midst of your chaos, the God of peace is bringing a calm and an order back into your life.

The Lord has heard your cries for help. Even though you feel alone in your situation and have waited for a rescuer, He is saying to you today: “Take My hand and rebuke the storm with Me. For I am training you to rise up in the authority that I have given you. Just as I followed the lead of My Father, so you too must follow My lead and, instead of losing hope and putting your head in your hands, RISE UP and TAKE COURAGE! I am the God of peace and the God of order and when I speak to the storm it obeys me. And I live in you…

So speak to the storm that rages around you today and command it to be still in My Name.”

When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. The men were amazed, and said, “What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
