Splinters

Will you allow Me to come and remove the splinters from your life? Why do you fear the pain of the removal of these things that would irritate and agitate you? Are you more willing to allow these things to fester and rot in your life than you are willing to allow Me to remove them?

It saddens Me that you might think that I would cause more harm than good if we were to address these splinters of pain. Do I need to remind you that I am a good God, a father who wants only good for His children? I am waiting for you to come to a place of trust, a place where I can bring you into My presence and remove the agitations and pains of life without further damage. Do not run from My presence, for these things cannot be shaken off; they can only be removed by my love and care.
