The enemy cannot hinder forever
Daniel 10:12-18
Then [the angel] continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.” While he was saying this to me, I bowed with my face toward the ground and was speechless. Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me, “I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I am helpless. How can I, your servant, talk with you, my lord? My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe.”
Again the one who looked like a man touched me and gave me strength. “Do not be afraid, O man highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.”
We are not alone! You are not alone! There is a great battle being waged in the spiritual realms in these pivotal days but you must know that you are on the side of the victor, Christ; who is more powerful than any weapon formed against you or any man or creature who lines up against you.
You are one of those special ones, called for these particular times, to enforce the victory of Christ in your realms of spiritual warfare. God could have planned your life for any time in history past or the years still to come but he chose you for now.
Therefore, be at peace; be strong. Do not be discouraged by the turmoil of the season or the delays in what you are praying for. We live in turbulent times and the enemy’s objective is to hinder and thwart the plans of the Lord, just as the prince of Persia did in Daniel’s day of warfare. But he cannot delay God’s messengers and God’s warriors for long.
