The rain is coming! ☔ – your Lion Bites word for today
I hear, ‘The rain is coming! The rain is coming! I am sending my rain!’
‘I am pouring out my Spirit in greater measure in these days. Do you see? Do you feel? Position yourself for a complete saturation of my Spirit. This is not a ‘one off’, ‘one-day-only’ event but an outpouring, a drenching, a thorough saturation in my Spirit which is coming to you.
My rain is being poured out to saturate my people and the land and it comes to bring life in abundance. It comes to water the seeds that are germinating, the seeds that are in you and in the land. It comes to water you in a fresh way so that you are completely dripping in me; soaked and with the aroma of my Spirit’.
So come, prepare to get wet! Get ready to be like a child who dances in the rain and does not care to cover up with clothing, nor with an umbrella; nor does he run with his head down into a dry shelter. Cast aside all that ‘covers’ you from God. Be like David who danced before Him, exposed, and choose to dance in the rain! God is pouring out His rain… the drops are falling and the deluge is coming. Prepare! Position yourself for this coming outpouring.
Joel 2:23-24
Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before. The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil.
