The rebuilding programme – your Lion Bites word for today
Isaiah 54:11
O storm-battered city, troubled and desolate!
I will rebuild you with precious jewels and make your foundations from lapis lazuli.
Take courage my children and live in good hope, for I am the restorer and the rebuilder. Do not rest in the ruins of what was once great but instead join in the rebuilding programme. It is time to get on with it because waiting for the good days that you remember or that you have read about, will not turn the clock back. I will not turn the clock back because this is a new day and in this day I am restoring much that was not there before. Join in with my building work. Spend time with me and I will show you the part of the wall that I want you to work on. And do not stint on the resources that I have given and I am giving you, for I am the Lord your God and I have unlimited supply for those who are about the task that I have appointed for them.
Isaiah 54:2-3
Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams. Your descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities.
