The Secret Place

God is calling us to the secret place. Back to the intimate places; back to places long-forgotten.

And after he had taken leave of them, he went up on the mountain to pray. Mark 6:46 

Jesus spent time with His Father in the morning and through the night times. He soaked in the presence of God during these hours. Prayer, quietness, study and fasting are involved in seeking after God’s face.

The Lord has sought out a man after his own heart. 1 Samuel 13:14

God is looking to us, asking, ‘Will you seek my face? Will you search after my own heart and become like David – become someone after My own heart.?’

As you seek the Lord your God may it start in the secret places, in the intimate places – in the places long forgotten – as He calls us back to life and perfect alignment with Him and His will.

You have said, “Seek my face,” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”
