The Slipstream
Beloved, I see the many pulls on your heart, and I hear the noise surrounding you. There are so many loud and confusing cries clamouring for your attention. Don’t get caught up in those for they will rob you of My best. I am calling you to tune out all of that, and tune into My voice. Turn your thoughts and your heart towards Me, because I am longing to lead you into greater measures of My presence. My Bride, I have rivers of living water for you, the rivers of my rest. Focus on Me alone and follow My leading by the slipstream of My Spirit, into greater depths of freedom and favour. There are stretches of My water before you that are pure and clear. Step deeper into My lead, and you will experience more of My presence. I am right here waiting for you.
Activation: Imagine yourself intentionally turning away from all of the demands that are upon you, and focusing on following Jesus. He is leading you into the slipstream of His Spirit. Thank Him that you are increasingly being filled and surrounded by Him, that His water level is rising, …as He is inviting you deeper and deeper into experiencing His presence.
Ezekiel 47:1-5 (NIV)
The man brought me back to the entrance to the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was coming down from under the south side of the temple, south of the altar. He then brought me out through the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate facing east, and the water was trickling from the south side. As the man went eastward with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a thousand cubits and then led me through water that was ankle-deep. He measured off another thousand cubits and led me through water that was knee-deep. He measured off another thousand and led me through water that was up to the waist. He measured off another thousand, but now it was a river that I could not cross, because the water had risen and was deep enough to swim in—a river that no one could cross.
