There is a place…

There is a place called His Presence. His presence is a place of rest for the weary and the heavy laden. At the door you can lay down your bags and come into a place of acceptance, a place of warmth and comfort. It is a house without walls, ceilings – without limitations… and yet at the same time it is a place of perfect peace, protection, covering and security. It is a place that is surrounded by a vast sea, an ocean that is too large for any marauding forces to cross – a place you can never be stolen or taken away from. It is a clean place, a place that is so free from bugs, bacteria, lies and harmful poisons that you are safe to pour out all of your heart, that your insides might be washed and bathed in love.

Presence is a place of love and of healing. It is a place where you can be put back together, where you can be made whole. It is a place of freedom from oppression, a place where your mind can be renewed and your whole being transformed.

Presence is a place where you can hear from the One who loves you unconditionally. Where you can see clearly and speak freely, with unbridled passion and adoration. It is a place of true intimacy and it is a place where you belong. It is yours to stay in forever. It is not loaned or rented to you, you don’t need a mortgage to live there. It was fully bought and paid for and the title deeds are signed in blood.

Walk into that place, enjoy the manifest presence of your Lord Jesus Christ. Make a choice today to abide in Him and He will abide in you, forever. In His presence, that’s where you belong.

Psalm 16:8-11
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 31:19-20
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues.
