It’s time to blow away the dead things in your life, like the leaves are blown, collected up and then disposed of. There are things in your life that it is time to let go of, things for which their season has ended. It’s time to seek out the new things of God and not be satisfied by the easy place that you have become accustomed to. It’s time to let the ruach, the wind of God blow – blow away the old and fan into flame the new.
You are moving into a new season: do not allow yourself to be held back; do not be restrained and constrained by areas that would hinder you and slow you down. Throw off the old and come freely into the new! Feel the freshness of the wind on your face; feel the freedom and the exhilaration of the new season.
Psalms 103:15-17
As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more.
But the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to children’s children.
