Time To Ascend – your Lion Bite word for today

It’s time to but are you ready? 

It’s time to ascend the hill of the Lord with clean hands and a pure heart but are you prepared? Like climbing a mountain, you can climb with little preparation, but you’ll struggle your way to the top, or you can train and prepare for the climb ahead of time. 

The Lord says to the church, “ascend, ascend, ascend” it’s time to come out from the valley and take your places on the hilltops. 

I am taking the church up the mountain of the Lord that they might grab hold of the greater measure of Glory and Power that I am pouring out on the earth. It is time to ascend the hill of the Lord and to open up the gates that the King of Glory may come in. 

This is the preparation time, says the Lord, because the ascent into my presence on a greater measure isn’t the easiest of climbs, but it is the most rewarding. 

Psalm 24:7-10 NIV

Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient door, that the King of glory may come in.

Who is this King of glory?

The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? 

The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.
