Together

The Lord showed me a vision of white crosses moving along the highways and byways; down the roads and the freeways of the world. As the crosses moved forward, I saw that there were people carrying the crosses. The crosses represented the churches of the world and the people were congregations, those that step up to the commission. The roads travelled by the crosses lead to the harvest fields where the lost and hungry are waiting.

I watched as each person carried the cross above their heads: they stumbled, some fell, some got back up again to take their place and continue carrying the cross to the harvest fields. A number struggled, leaving those that were left with a harder job to take up the weight of the crosses – yet they knew that they had to stand up and take the weight for their struggling brothers and sisters… and fill the gaps.

And the Lord said, ‘Today! Yes, today! The call to my people is to stand up, take the weight and know that I AM GOD’.

Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
