Trust your Good Shepherd
John 10:9-10
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Keep your trust in the Lord. Do not be swayed. Choose to renew and strengthen your faith in Him this new day. For He is the giver of life, the good shepherd who leads us to green pastures and by still waters. God is truly good and He is trustworthy.
Trust His word, allow it to be the plumbline in your life. Counter the whispered lies of the deceiver with your declarations of truth: I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever. I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints.(Psalm 52:8-9)
The thief, the robber, will receive his humiliation and his punishment from the Lord but those who trust in God’s unfailing love will sit beneath the tent of the Lamb, beside springs of living water.
Revelation 7:15-17
…they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
