Tune your heart to sing His praise – your Lion Bites word for today

The Lord says, ‘I want to bring everything in your life into its right place, so that there is harmony. Let your heart sing praise – and not groaning; joy – and not moaning. Sing words of righteousness and hope. 

Re-tune your heart! Watch the words you speak, be aware of your thoughts and remove everything that doesn’t honour God.  

The Lord longs for harmony, and not discord. Our thoughts, our words, our actions all need to work together in a blend that doesn’t jar. When your heart sings, when you speak, it should be in tune with His heart – so edit out the ‘notes’ that are not from Him. As you remove the discordant notes, the disagreements, the impatience, the discontent, the result will delight Him and you will be able to join the choirs of heaven in praise. And the sound you hear will overwhelm you with its glory, for its focus will be Him and not you. It will bring rest and peace to your soul.
