Weapons of Divine Power – your Lion Bites word for today
Are you facing turmoil and upheaval right now? Are situations not going the way you thought they would? Do you feel cornered in and unable to move? Stand tall – God has a word for you today!
The Lord says ‘Sons and daughters – you are pre-equipped with weapons of divine power to extinguish and defeat every hidden ploy of the enemy at work against your life. Don’t face the enemy believing that you have not what you need to overcome – this is a lie that satan has sent to keep you down. You already have weapons of overcoming. Not swords and guns, but Truth – my written word that forces the enemy to retreat when spoken out loud. You have worship; songs that release the truth of who I am into the atmosphere and cause every pretender to the throne to bow and flee. You have my name, that conquerors every other name that seeks to exhaust itself above mine. Use the weapons I have given you, don’t leave the idle at your side! Stand tall, fight and overcome.’

For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide.[a] 5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy[b] that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought[c] and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.
