The Lord would ask you this day, ‘What is in your hand?’ Many look at what is in someone else’s hand and covet what they have, but remember that Father God didn’t make you to be someone else, He made you to be YOU.
Child of God, you are unique and the giftings, abilities and anointings that He has given you are yours and will have your own unique expression on them. You may reply, ‘But oh I don’t have much to offer… and what I have is only small’. Yet the Lord answers you – ‘Give me the little that you have and watch and see what I will do!’
The little boy in John 6 had only five loaves and two fish but in the hands of Jesus this small lunch portion was multiplied and adequately fed a crowd of 5,000. Not only did Jesus satisfy the crowd’s hunger but twelve baskets were filled with the left over bread… there was more than enough! How did this miracle happen? The little boy took what was in his hands and gave it to Jesus!
What has God placed in your hands? What gifts, abilities and anointings has He blessed you with? Take time today to thank Him for these and ask Him to take what you have and use it for His glory.
Zechariah 4:10
Do not despise this small beginning, for the eyes of the Lord rejoice to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. For these seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that see everywhere around the world.
