“Who will go for Me?” – your Lion Bites word for today
I heard the spirit of the Lord ask “who will go for us? Who will go for me?”
2017 will be marked by sent ones heeding the call to go into all the earth rising up within the Church as God begins to unveil in each heart the purpose their life is meant to pursue. The Lord is searching the earth for these people; those who will give their life to Him and to His Kingdom once more. He is moving throughout every nation, stirring His people to sow their life as a seed that will release flourishing into all of society.
You are to be a sent one. You are to be one that God endows with power and sends into an area of our culture. Today, God is putting His finger on His call that is in your heart and bringing it to the surface and with this, impressing upon you a passion for outworking this very mission. Will you respond to His call?
There are some who will be sent to other nations, there will be others who are sent to sectors (or mountains) of society*. Some will pursue transformation in their home amongst family and others who God is desiring to send to their university or place of education. The Lord says “I need all my people in all the Earth to see my promises fulfilled. Each call is different in its expression but the same in value and necessity.”
This day, respond to the impressing of God upon your life. What will your answer be to this call that God has issued once more in the earth? For He asks once more “who will go for us? Who will go for me?”
Isaiah 6:7-9
… With it, he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” He said, “Go and tell this person: “Be ever hearing, but never understanding, be ever seeing but never perceiving.’
