Wonderful Power! – your Lion Bites word for today

Eagerly desire the Lord and His gifts and you will know His power in your life, the wonderful resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Take pleasure in what your Saviour offers you. Your pleasure in Him is His delight!
 
Flee from the spirits of the age that would have us hanker after man’s corrupt notions of power and the rights and trappings that the world dangles, temptingly, before us. His grace is bountiful, His gifts, blessings and goodness are more than you can imagine.

Enjoy again the chorus of the old hymn, ‘…there is power, power, wonder-working power, in the precious blood of the Lamb’*. That power is at work in you, and through you, today. Eagerly desire every opportunity to have His power take over you, and your circumstances and areas of influence, today!

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honour at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
