You are my territory – your Lion Bites word for today

I hear the Spirit of God say, ‘I am a territorial God and I guard and protect that which is mine. You are my responsibility and I take my role in your life seriously. I never let go of you, you are never out of my sight.
 
Therefore I walk around you like a guard on duty and I make sure you are safe. In the morning I am there, shaking darkness from you. During the day I am your protection in the heat of stressful situations. In the evening I am the lifter of your head so that you do not become downcast and at night am I your guard who watches over you as you sleep, so that you might rest in my peace.
 
I am ever present and therefore you can wake each day with confidence, knowing that I have seen all things and know how to get you to where you need to be. I am guarding you and I am working to bring some things to completion. I am guarding you and I am beginning some new things too. I am guarding you and you are going to get through this safe and well.
