You have faith! Do you believe that you can move the mountain that is before you, as Jesus promised you could?
God says to you today that the mountain before you is a training ground; satan, the deceiver, tells you otherwise. He whispers in your ear that this is a faith-limiter, or even the end of your faith. He presents the mountain before you like a cul-de-sac, a dead-end.
Believe the report of the Lord in this. Believe that your faith can – and will – move this mountain. Ask the Holy Spirit to today reveal the first rock that you can pick up and hurl into the sea. You’ll find yourself able, through supernatural strength. It might be a stretch, you might feel a bit sore and stiff as your humanity catches up with this newfound spiritual power, but you will be able – your faith is enough. Persevere in faith; ignore the liar who will try to persuade you to scramble over or around the mountain in your own strength.
After you’ve picked up and thrown that first rock, it will be time to tackle the bigger and bigger rocks: keep following the Holy Spirit’s guidance and instruction. One day, you’ll find that the mountain has disappeared into the sea!
Matthew 21:20-22
…When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
