A Call to Consecration –  your Lion Bites word for today

Leviticus 20:7
“‘Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the LORD your God.”

There is a new call to consecration that comes to you today. God is calling His church into another season of deepening confession, dedication, holiness and sanctification and it is now time to prepare and make ready for that consecration.

In the Old Testament era, there would be a shaving of hair, a holy washing and dressing to consecrate oneself. Today God calls you to prepare yourself for consecration in the secret place. To allow Holy Spirit to convict you of areas of repentance, of life choices that were not honouring to God, of time spent and not invested in Him when He called. God is beckoning you into a place of holy consecration, to lay down before Him once more in total submission.

Allow Him to wash you clean of all that sullies and stains, of all that sticks that is an offence to the Lord. For He longs to consecrate you and make you spotless once again. These are the days of consecration to the Lord. He invites you to enter in.
