A Time to Strengthen Yourself – your Lion Bites word for today
We all need places where we are nourished, those ‘wells’ where we receive input that strengthens us and give us what we need to live. And the Holy Spirit would have you assess your current spiritual vitality and nourishment. Is the well running dry? Is the storehouse low on the supplies you need?
And God says, ‘I am going to feed you from a new source. Things will taste differently from what you are used to – and that is OK. You will enjoy a short time where I will lay out a banquet for you to eat and strengthen yourself with all you can. And in that time a hunger will come over you to receive more.’
In that time of renewed hunger that is coming to you it is okay to ‘eagerly desire’ (covet earnestly) after the Lord and His gifts – and to take all that is given to you.
Isaiah 25:6
