The Sound of Hope and Courage – your Lion Bites word for today

There is a sound of hope and courage that God is releasing in His people that will triumph over the chaotic noise of anger, dishonour and fear. This noise is rising like an incense and forming a covering blanket over the nation. It sets a new tone in the atmosphere that will wage a victorious war over the confusion that the camp of the enemy has seeped into our nation.

From the mouths of God’s people (that’s you!), declarations of hope, of courage, of power and of mercy will be released and, as these words come together, they will thunder throughout the earth. As they do, nations will be aligned with their truth. As mercy is proclaimed to captives, there will be a heavenly resource released to our justice systems; as love is decreed to hearts there will be restoration brought to families and communities and, as wisdom is declared over establishments and systems, our leaders will act with a God-awareness and prayerful consideration.

The sound of hope, of courage, of power and of mercy is beginning to rise from the people of God – through you and from me – and God is pressing us to watch our mouths, guard our lips and monitor our words. He is stirring a thunderous declaration that will triumph over chaos, dishonour and fear. Through you this will happen!

The priests blew their trumpets and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. At the sound of their battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. The Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands. Abijah and his troops inflicted heavy losses on them so that there were five hundred thousand casualties among Israel’s able men. The Israelites were subdued on that occasion, and the people of Judah were victorious because they relied on the Lord, the God of their ancestors.
