A year of adventures! – your Lion Bites word for today

It’s time to start this year right! Although we are already a few days into this new calendar year, some have not yet left 2014 behind and truly begun 2015. It’s time to close the door on what has gone / what has been; it’s time to leave behind the disappointment and pain of the last year and transition into the new.

For the Lord would say to you, ‘Let’s begin again. Let’s begin anew. For my grace and my mercy they are new every morning. Do not dwell on what you did not do, did not achieve or where you fell short, for I do not look at you and see these things, they only dominate your mind and your thoughts. The enemy would like you to focus on such things as these and magnify them in your mind, so that this is all that you can think about and all that you can see about yourself.

However, my child, when I look at you I see the gold within you! I see all the potential that I have placed within you. I see every gifting and anointing, I see the destiny that I have for you, I see my child made in my image and I am a pleased Father. Child of God, it is time to bring your mind into heavenly alignment, to enable you to see what I see about you and focus on what I focus on.

As you allow me to bring your mind into alignment, choose this day to close the door on 2014; leave behind all that belongs to last year and step into the new! Choose to fix your thoughts on me and put a stop to the enemy’s schemes of keeping you busy and bound up with negative feelings.

My precious one, I have an exciting year of adventures for us! Will you step out of 2014 and begin to start this year right? It’s never too late to begin again! I release to you this day a fresh excitement for the journey and a renewed sense of expectation and hope for 2015! Come, receive all that I have for you.

Romans 12: 2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
