Grab hold of new threads of life – your Lion Bites word for today

God gives life to everything! In Him there are always fresh beginnings, veins flowing with life and new buds in every season. Don’t forget that Jesus Christ is the Author of Life and He breathes life into even the driest, most arid places. Even when you feel as if your life’s ‘rope’ is ‘frayed’ and the strands are coming loose, God is weaving new, strong fibres into the cord.
 
You who have believed in Christ Jesus and received eternal life from Him are now living in your forever inheritance, an infinite life with Him. It has already begun! Are you living it?
 
Seek Him for revelation on what these new strands of life are and follow them with all your heart, mind and spirit. Let go of the old, frayed threads of things that have naturally run their course – you will need to let go of some things before you can fully grasp hold of the new opportunities that the Lord is presenting before you.
 
1 John 5:11-14
And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
