Adventures with the Lion – your Lion Bites word for today
You are being called on an adventure with the Lion, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah! It is time to do battle again: it is time to rescue the lost souls, it is time to set the captives free; it is time to take back the lands that have been planted with unrighteous seed; it is time take back all that the enemy has stolen.
Remember that your King is Jesus, who is the Lion of The Tribe of Judah. He sits atop His white charger horse, at the head of His heavenly armies. Listen! Do you hear the trumpet call that rallies His troops to His side?
Do you hear the cry that rings out: ‘Will you take up your spiritual weapons? Will you stand in battle against the principalities and powers of darkness? Will you be as one, united with me and part of my armies? Come closer in, come ride by my side!’
It is time for some of you who hear the call to come up higher in your expectations and your faith. It is time for some of you to come in from the cold and be part of the army again. It is time for some of you to come deeper intimacy with your Captain of Captains. It is time to ride by His side again.
Don’t dither and don’t delay. Don’t let anything stop you – especially not fear – from riding out with your King of Kings and your Lord of Lords. For today the battle and the victory belong to the Lord!
Revelation 19:11-16
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but He himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron sceptre.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
