Trust me – your Lion Bites word for today

‘Trust me today’, says the Lord your God. He has never let you down and He loves to demonstrate this to you. Give Him an opportunity to show His strength to you today by letting go of some things that you were going to attempt in your own effort and with a momentous push of your own hard work.

Let go and step back a bit. Invite God into the space and say, ‘I welcome you, my Lord, my Saviour, into this part of my life’. Repent of those times and places that you had not made space for Him – not trusted Him with that little part of your life and work. Oh yes, He has given you skills and abilities and, oh yes, He commissions you to work hard… but He wants to do something more with you and you life now, something surprising, something glorious!

Allow the Lord to add wings to what you are doing, so that you can fly high and give Him glory. Trust Him with these little important things. Take your hands off and trust Him today.
