Alignment with God’s purposes – your Lion Bites word for today

Matthew 6:9-10
…Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
 
Examine your objectives and your goals to make sure that they align with God’s purposes, especially that His will would be done on earth, as it is in heaven. When God’s people are aligned with this purpose, and in proper relationship with others who are in heart-pursuit of this alignment, revival and transformation will follow.

Maybe you have used a rifle at the funfair to shoot at a target and win a prize? To hit the target three things must be in alignment: your eye, the V-shaped guide at the trigger end of the rifle and the standing point at the front end of the rifle barrel. When these three align you will hit the target.

Be the ‘V-shaped guide’ on that rifle! When you are positioned and aligned between God’s eye and the ‘standing point’ at the end of the rifle (His purposes), you will fulfil your heaven’s call on earth.

And God is giving you courage to adjust old alignments so that you are pointed together with those whose minds are transformed to ‘heaven on earth’ thinking. By doing this you will hit your target and find yourself in His perfect will for your life.
