Set Free – your Lion Bites word for today

Because of Jesus you can be free from living under a spirit of perfectionism and performance, even one that has cursed generations of your family. Your are wasting time and effort trying to live up to unnecessary man-made rules and religious duties that do not come out of a heart of worship.

Is perfectionism becoming an idolatry in your life? Let it go. God wants you to rest in His presence, and seek Him as your true and living God. He has lots for you to do – but only through true rest in Him can this be accomplished. As you rest, He will deliver you out of all the man-made regulations that have been hindering your walk and worship and you will see freedom begin to unlock your life.
