Alive in Christ
Jesus, in John 11, stands at the door of Lazarus’ tomb and calls for him to come out. The command of Jesus beats back the hold of death and Lazarus emerges, fully resurrected. No part of him remained dead.
Today Jesus stands facing you and speaks over you in the same way. He banishes death from having any part of you; and death bows the knee to Jesus, who broke its powers.
A weight of resurrection life is now released to flow fully through you. There is more life for you now to receive than you have ever known before; that place where you felt dead inside, Jesus commands LIFE in its place.
Ephesians 2:4
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ
