An Anointed Mandate –  your Lion Bites word for today

Because I love you, so you can love. Go and show love, without restriction or prejudice.

Because I have anointed you with my Spirit, you can move in miraculous power. Go and act powerfully, under the anointing of my Spirit.

Because I have commissioned you, you can go. Go and make disciples. This is not just for those in leadership positions – you too can make disciples.

Because I have freed you, you are no longer in captivity. Go, leave your prison cell, put on new clothes and tell the other prisoners and slaves the good news that freedom is here for them!

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.
