Be aware of your spiritual environment – your Lion Bites word for today

I heard the Lord say, ‘Be aware of your spiritual environment.’

He is asking us to be ones who are vigilant and thorough in assessing and checking what is happening in the spiritual realm around us. This is not a time to be spiritually lazy and half-hearted but rather, be focused and intentional.

These are the days to ask for clarity and the ability to see and sense in the Spirit, for the enemy would try to come close and hinder our progress. As we choose to apply the gift of spiritual discernment and deal with any hindrances in Jesus’ name, not only will we be those who rout the enemy but also be ones who effectively advance the Kingdom of the Lord.

And the Lord says, ‘Come to me and I will give you these gifts freely, for I long for you to be effective in advancement and without hindrance. Use these gifts I give you; be zealous in the pursuit of them and excellent in the practice of them.’ 

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
