Come higher today!

Just as a para-glider or hang-glider must take a run and jump off the hillside before the thermals catch the fullness of the flight equipment’s wings, so must we run this morning and ‘catch’ the wind of God’s Spirit.

God is giving us a new view – one of perspective and height – to survey our position in the spirit realm and see what is before us. We access this by faith and leaping into it. This is the time of looking into our destinies and calling forth the promises God is releasing for our future, into the present. God is encouraging us, by His Spirit, to launch up by faith, and examine the view around us. He is showing us where we have been, where we are presently and where He is taking us. He is releasing to us an invitation and opportunity to make ready and prepare for the shift into the next season of 2013.

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, ‘Make ready! Prepare! Make ready! Come up here and prepare your spirits for the coming of the Son of Man! For He is coming quickly and we must prepare!’

The time of preparation is short for transition into the new season. Choose to be ready and be ones who are poised and positioned for our Bridegroom, Jesus.

Matthew 25:1-13
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
“At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
“‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
“Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
