The Glory of the Lord

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, ‘These are the days of the increase of My Glory in the earth. These are the days of My ‘Glory Carriers’ rising up across the towns, cities and nations. And these are the days of an increase in the revelation of My Glory among My people – My ‘Glory Carriers’.

Ezekiel 10:3-4
Now the cherubim were standing on the south side of the temple when the man went in, and a cloud filled the inner court. Then the glory of the Lord rose from above the cherubim and moved to the threshold of the temple. The cloud filled the temple, and the court was full of the radiance of the glory of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 7:1-3
When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it. When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.”

And the Holy Spirit reminds us today that the words of the prophets and the ancient chroniclers are not just historic texts to be wondered at! No, they are to be understood and lived out in the context that we a children of the new covenant, temples filled with the Holy Spirit of God. We are the children, who with unveiled faces reflect the Lord’s glory, [and] are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory… which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit! (2 Corinthians 3:18)

Did you forget that He called you to this – that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ? (2 Thess. 2:14) The call is to go and carry the glory of the Lord into the streets, the homes, the workplaces and the environments where God leads you today!
