Come on a journey – your Lion Bites word for today
God asks you to come with Him on a journey. The path which He is choosing for you is a high road.
Isaiah 35:8
A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast go up on it. It shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there.
How wonderful it will be, walking above these troubles. You and your fellow travellers will help to keep one another on the high road.
The road is also a straight road:
Isaiah 40:3
…Prepare the way of the Lord. Make straight in the desert a highway for our God
A straight road enables you to avoid distractions, remain focused and get to your destiny quicker.
And finally, the road is a safe road:
If your heart is pure and open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit then know that you will progress under His blessing and, even if you digress off His road you will graciously be brought back to be safe:
Isaiah 30:21
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying — This is the way, walk in it — whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.
