Cross The Line – your Lion Bite word for today

I have drawn a line in the sand.  I have set before you a choice: life or death!  You can no longer stand astride the line.  You can not hop backwards and forwards playing with the idea of commitment.   It is time to throw off indecision to stop being blown about by the winds and stand in Life.  

This is a moment of consecration, a moment of decision. I am calling you to look at me in the eyes, to lock onto my gaze and choose me and choose life. For too long, you have looked to friends, family and leaders to choose for you but today is a day of choosing life. 

 Are you willing to make a bold choice to follow me?

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (NIV)

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 

John 6:66-68 (NIV) From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.  ‘You do not want to leave too, do you?’ Jesus asked the Twelve.  Simon Peter answered him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.   We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.’
