Develop your gifts

I have placed within you Heavenly gifts. Gifts which are yours, to build up and encourage. You recognise some aspects of the gifts I have given you – some are tangible and you perceive them. Others you are not yet aware of.

I am beginning to show you all the aspects of the gifts I have given you and I am awakening those that you are not aware of, or being used. You see even those gifts you think of as personality traits – I am bringing a refining and polishing to them. These spiritual gifts that you are aware of will be more obvious, you will be able to use them with greater ease and flow.

I am asking you to recognise what gifts I have given you and to discern them through prayer. I am not asking you to do anything differently but be aware of them and begin to develop your gifts by using them in a safe place with one or two others. I am asking you to recognise what I have given you and to become familiar with it; to be comfortable and proficient.

1 Corinthians 12:31-13:2
But eagerly desire the greater gifts.
And now I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all knowledge and if I have a faith that can move mountains but have not love I am nothing.
