Fire ???? – your Lion Bites word for today
As I shut my eyes the Holy Spirit impressed upon me a picture of a bright, vibrant fire, similar to what we have come to understood the burning bush to be like. But as I continued to look, I released that this fire was not a bush, it wasn’t a ‘something’, it was you. This fire is each one of Father God’s children. Every single one of us who has given all to God has invited Him to come and be the fire inside us, the flame upon our hearts.
The fire comes firstly as a refiner, burning away all the dross in our lives and removing this stuff we don’t need anymore. Then it comes to heal where there has been brokenness and wounding in our lives. Lastly, the fire comes to set us alight for our kingdom business, function and mission; to make us burning ones for His name’s sake.
God is increasing the fire that you carry, making you unstoppable, passionate and purposeful in pursuit of Him and of His plans in the earth. Spend time with Father God and give Him permission ‘to be the fire inside of you, the flame upon your heart.’
Genesis 3:2
And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of the bush. So he looked and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
