Gunpowder Explosion ???? – your Lion Bites word for today

As the Lord comes to set our work ablaze for His ever-increasing glory on the earth [see yesterday’s Lion Bite], you are going to see explosions right across the projects, ministries and work that you’re involved in. The Holy Spirit showed me three trails of sparkling powder, coloured purple. These were trails of heavenly gunpowder… highly flammable and highly explosive. These gunpowder trails have been laid out for you and God is already sprinkling them (as one would sprinkle salt and pepper on food) over the work that you have dedicated to Him (this ‘work’ could just as easily be in the ‘marketplace’ as in the ‘church’).

As He applies His flaming torch to your projects they will ignite and explode. Things that were closed are going to open and things that were inward and going to be outward. This time of fiery explosion is to bring things out into the open, to bring the power and demonstration of the Kingdom more into the outward looking reality of your life. The power of the Kingdom is about to become much more visible in your work – it will be an ‘external’, not an ‘internal’ aspect of your life. Things will never be the same again but do not be afraid: those who say, ‘yes’ to this are going to be radically empowered by the Holy Spirit to do much, much more than they are currently experiencing.

Matthew 3:11
I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Romans 12:11 [AMP]
Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.

2 Timothy 3:5
For men will be […] holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these.
