‘I am a child of God!’ – your Lion Bites word for today

Remember that I call you my child, says God. Do not tire of hearing this but instead allow my Spirit to carry the revelation of what this means deeper and deeper into the very depths of your being. Allow the truth that you are a son or a daughter of mine to permeate every aspect of you and your thinking. Let your mind be daily, constantly, renewed by this truth… that you are reborn in me and that I am yours and you are mine. Listen and remind yourself of what I say to you: I am your good, loving and perfect Father and you are my child. I have given you a new name because you are a new creation. ‘I am a child of God’. Remind yourself of this in every which way you can, because your mindset shift in this area will radically alter your behaviours and your attitudes to yourself and to others. World-changing begins in this very deep and very personal place.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
