Meeting God in unexpected places – your Lion Bites word for today

I am awakening in you a new and fresh understanding of my faithfulness. Do you not know that I reveal myself in the place that you least expect? I will reveal myself, even in the place from which you have longed to escape – open your eyes and you will see that I was there with you all along.

Even the path of challenge and regret, where hindsight speaks loudly, cannot deflect my plans and purposes in your life. And this path is leading you to a place of rest. So let the sun go down on this season. Rest on the rock of my faithfulness, for in that place of your surrender to me, I open heaven and new doors of a revelation of my love and my favour.

Recognise that I am in the place that you did not expect. This is your ‘Bethel‘ – a ‘night’ that you will always remember as the place where the doors were open into my house. Here there is restoration, favour and even a return of some things that were lost. Lay yourself down in that place, so that I might bless you and your family and make you a blessing to others.
