My peace and presence

1 John 4:4
You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Little ants scurry about from place to place; from rock to rock. Like many small creatures, an ant doesn’t want to stay out in the open spaces too long, as those places leave him vulnerable to the elements and much larger creatures that are a threat.

But I heard the Lord say to you:
“I have not made you like the ant… busily running about from one place of ‘safety’ to another, in fear of the places in-between.

Remember that I have given you my peace and my presence to walk in – continually. I have made you to be a carrier of my presence and to be that safe place for those who don’t know me.

I am your rock and your shelter. I am your protector. You are safe.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
