Permission to Rearrange – your Lion Bites word for today

You have felt as though your life has become ineffective or limited in some way and this has brought a frustration. Surprisingly, God celebrates this moment because He sees your willingness to reassess your life. Therefore, God is looking for your permission to come and rearrange some things. For some, this looks like an overhaul with grand changes coming. Yet, for many others, this rearranging will be applied in the details; the hidden places of your life, the habits and routines that not many people see.

God wants your partnership in this work; He will not impose it on you. Are you willing to let Him shuffle around segments of your life, even asking for some huge decisions to be made so that He can create the best context for you to thrive as He intended? Are you willing to embark on this adventure?

Instead of getting ahead of yourself and changing everything at once, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal one area He wants you to focus on first. Once received and actioned, then ask for the next area. Don’t allow yourself to be overwhelmed by making every change at the same time. Change by change, day-by-day, God will rearrange and you will start to thrive and life effectively again.

Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armour on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around because he was not used to them. “I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off.
