Return to passion –  your Lion Bites word for today

You are called to live a passionate and holy life for God; to flee from lukewarmness and be on who display’s God’s glory on the earth. Today, God is asking you to take stock of your passion levels and allow God’s word to become your thermometer to gauge your spiritual ‘heat’. God is calling you to return to passion, to return to your first love and walk in the greater works.

Do not criticise yourself if you find that you are not as passionate as you thought; you may have walked through a season of extreme trouble or chaos. Instead, take heart, all is not lost, and God is giving you an opportunity to turn things around. Make the choice today to let the zeal of the Lord consume you and to live a life marked by fiery passion.

Romans 12:10-11
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
