Stand up!  –  your Lion Bites word for today

I heard the spirit of the Lord “‘stand upright; stand in ready position, for I coming to meet you and I am coming to overwhelm that which has overwhelmed you in recent times. You have felt a wind come and try to blow you over; a wind of family disagreements, of financial stress, of working relationships and tensions in your health, and I am coming with my storm to push this back.”

I saw you sitting down on the ground, trying hard to resist a wind that was blowing around you. In tension you held your body tight, straining your muscles in a bid to stay up. The Lord calls you to your feet, and instead of struggling or falling with the force of the wind, you stood up and straight and instantly God came with His storm and pushed back the enemy.

The Lord says, “do not look to the wind around you and think that nothing could be greater. For I am coming with my storm and I am overcoming your chaos. I come with fire and with healing, with wind and with rain, I come with lightning and thunder, and the enemies wind will seem like an exhale from your lips in comparison. Stand upright, don’t let the chaos around you define your position, and watch as I overwhelm that which overwhelms you.”
