The Crest of a Wave ???? – your Lion Bites word for today

A good surfer is practiced in the art of riding the crest of a wave and allowing it to propel them into the air. In these spectacular aerial manoeuvres the surfer will appear to fly and can nimbly change their direction.

Look for the opportunity to ride the waves that would otherwise overwhelm you in these days and you will not be crushed. God trusts you to ride the waves and has allowed you to navigate to the shallows so that you can rise on the surf.

Stand firmly on the Word of God, allow it to cut through the water like a sword and it will keep you upright and balanced. Keep your head up – fix your eyes on what is unseen and do not allow your view to drop to what is below the surface of the waves. Don’t be concerned with what lies beneath and would seek to drag you down, spiritually and emotionally.

God is with you. Believe that the waves that you face will not drown you. Have faith – you’ve got this!

2 Corinthians 4:7-9
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
