The truth about men and women
Men and women of the church, know that you are beautiful and glorious people indeed! Gold threads are woven throughout the circumstances of your life – look back and see the fine embroidery that has been sewn in patterns throughout the ‘ups and downs’ of years past.
You are beautiful. You are beautiful to your King. He can’t get enough of your beauty. Believe it! These are His words – He is not a man, He cannot lie!
Honour your King – He is Lord of your life. He won your life, He made you beautiful, clean, more than acceptable to Him. Do not dishonour your King by thinking and behaving in ways that are any less than these truths. No, lift up your heads you princes and princesses and enter the King’s palace of justice with great joy and gladness in your hearts and demeanour. Believe the truth about who you are.
Psalm 45:6-15
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a sceptre of justice will be the sceptre of your kingdom. You love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.
All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory the music of the strings makes you glad. Daughters of kings are among your honoured women; at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.
Listen, O daughter, consider and give ear: Forget your people and your father’s house. The king is enthralled by your beauty; honour him, for he is your lord. The Daughter of Tyre will come with a gift, men of wealth will seek your favour.
