Turn on the light!

Genesis 1:3
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 

Mark 11:34
The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.

What I have put within you, do you allow it to reign? Do you allow the Holy Spirit to take precedence in your life? Does He have pre-eminence and full access to every aspect of your life? Is the light that is within you burning brightly or has it grown dim?

If you will allow Him full and free access, and if you will be led by Me, then the light that is within you will be bright and you will be fully illumined. Then, instead of seeing and experiencing darkness all around, you will become a light in the darkness and people will come to the light that you radiate.

Darkness flees from the light, so I say to you this day, ‘Turn on the light!’ Let your light shine before men, do not let it be hidden.

Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
