Wholehearted – your Lion Bites word for today

Luke 9:51
As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem.

Jesus set his face like flint and determinedly went towards his destiny. For the joy set before him he endured the cross… and this is the King we are called to follow!

Beloved, be wholehearted and serve your King today with everything that you can muster. Let your ‘yes’ be a yes and your ‘no’ be no, for God cannot bless double-mindedness.

Be like King Hezekiah, who prospered because everything he did in the service of the temple he did wholeheartedly.

The Father is looking for a people sold out for Him, so go forward unafraid. Fix your eyes on Jesus and remember that He did not count the cost but gave everything for you.

2 Chronicles 31:20-21
This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. In everything that he undertook in the service of God’s temple and in obedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked wholeheartedly. And so he prospered.

Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
