Calling Forth Generals – your Lion Bites word for today

Exodus 3:1-4
Now Moses was pasturing the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed. So Moses said, “I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up.” When the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

This is the season of the burning bush, says God. Fire goes before me, and it goes forth to awaken my sleeping ones. This is a time where I am awakening those who are seemingly in obscurity and in the land of forgottenness – the back side of the desert – and I am bringing them forward to lead my armies.

You will notice in these days my fire and my presence turning up in places and at times that you did not expect. I want you to turn aside and look and see, just like Moses did. This is the time of your calling and the giving of your assignments.

I am calling forth my generals in this hour; those who have been in training in obscurity, even though they did not realise it. You will no longer be the sleeping and forgotten ones, but you will become the leaders in my army, says God.
